Worcester – Roland McKay, 54, passed away at home on March 1, 2017;
He was born in Webster, MA on June 14, 1962, son of the late Earl and Louise McKay. Roland worked for many years, delivering newspapers for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette; He enjoyed working on cars, and he especially enjoyed helping and taking care of others.
Roland is survived by his daughter Holly A. McKay of Arizona; ; three brothers: Raymond L. McKay of North Brookfield, Earl W. McKay Jr. of North Brookfield, and Michael D. McKay of Worcester; Five sisters: Deborah Salvin of Millbury, Donna Starkweather of Hubbardston, MA, Kathleen McKay of Bennington, VT, Patricia McKay of Putnam, CT, and Lisa McKay of North Brookfield; He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 11:00 am in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster, MA; A Bereavement gathering will follow at the Peppercorn's Restaurant, 455 Park Avenue, Worcester, MA.
