John Joseph Brooks

Douglas- John Joseph “Trooper” Brooks, 68, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, September 24, 2015.

John’s family can find comfort knowing that he has now joined his beloved wife Corinne “Cookie” Brooks to spend eternity together.

John leaves behind his three children- Lynn Campo and her husband Christopher of Millbury, John Brooks Jr. of Douglas, and Dawn Remillard and her husband Michael of Worcester, six grandchildren, three brothers, three step-brothers, five sisters, and a step-sister.  He also leaves behind his beloved family dog Simba. John was predeceased by his parents John S. Brooks and Elmira Gagnon, and a sister Debra Davenport.

John loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle in benefit events with friends, bowling, gardening, playing pitch, and most of all making people laugh.

Calling Hours for John will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 9:30am-11:30am at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors 838 Main Street Worcester. A Funeral Home Service will be held immediately following Calling Hours. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
