Marion I (Lundblad) Caldwell

Worcester/Northbridge- Marion Irene (Lundblad) Caldwell, 85, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Marion leaves her 7 children: Raymond Dube of Northbridge, Robert Dube and his wife Dianne of Worcester, Edward Caldwell Jr. of West Virginia, Mike Caldwell and his wife Mary of Worcester, Maureen LaMarche and her companion Arthur Anderson of Northbridge, Marlene Hamalainen and her husband George of Northbridge, and Janet Cofske and her husband Joseph of Maine. Marion also leaves 31 grandchildren, many great & great-great grandchildren, her 3 brothers: Robert McDonald and his wife Louise of Worcester, Charles McDonald and his wife Joan of Worcester, and Francis McDonald of Worcester, her sister Lorraine Card of Oxford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

Marion was predeceased by her husband Edward Caldwell Sr. who died August 9, 2004. She was also predeceased by her parents Mary McDonald and Frank Lundblad, a sister Mildred Lundblad, and 5 brothers: Clarence Redman, William Redman, Roland McDonald, Melvin Redman, and Richard McDonald.

Marion was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Worcester, and was devoted to her beliefs. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Alpine, and will always be remembered by her “regulars.” She found great joy in going to the casinos, playing cards, and attending Bingo. Marion was proud of her family, and could often be found bragging about her kids and grand kids. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Calling Hours for Marion will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 11am -12pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester. Funeral Service will be at 11AM in the Funeral Home. Burial Will Be Private at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA with her husband Edward.
