Wallace A. Stevenson

Worcester - Wallace A. "Wally" Stevenson, 71, entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center with his loving wife Tina by his side. Wally was born in Worcester on January 3, 1944 and remained a lifelong resident of Worcester. 

Wally leaves his wife, Tina Gyamera and children: Alicia, Sophia, Jessica and Dominic. He also leaves six grandchildren, a sister, Becky Murphy and two brothers, Richard and Ronaldo Raivio all of Worcester. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who referred to him as Uncle Dinny. He was thankful for two very close firends, Freddy and Linda Goding. 

Wally retired from Quinsigamond Community College where he worked for many years as a custodial engineer. He was a very gentle, quiet, loving and caring person. He loved spending time with his wife and grandchildren. He had a great love for dogs. 

Thank you, Wally, for all you gave us and the special moments shared. Though we always wished we had more time together, we thank God for the time shared. 

A celebration of Wally's life will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors.
