Worcester, MA-Elder Joseph Frazier III, 58, passed away on Friday, February
14,2020 at the Worcester Health Center after a long illness. He was born on
September 6, 1961 in Birmingham, AL to the late Elder Joseph Frazier II and
Gertrude (Berders) Frazier. Elder grew up in Birmingham, AL as a child in a
house full of siblings with four sisters and four brothers. Elder attended Phillips
High School and he played on the football team for many years. His number was
73. In his spare time he loved working on cars with his father everyday in his
childhood backyard. He started working at Spradlin Auto Parts at a young age.
Elder had a love for driving old Classic cars and he enjoyed working on them.
He moved from Birmingham, AL to Worcester, MA in 1984. In 1985 Elder
started working as an Auto Mechanic for Westboro Toyota, Westborough, MA.
He leaves behind five children; Latonya D. Harris, Elder J. Harris with Mona
L. Harris. Later Elder met his wife, Alice A. (Morgan) Frazier who he had three
children with. His children are Joseph Q. Frazier, Raymond J. Frazier and Yenisey A. Frazier.
Elder was a devoted and loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and
friend. He was a hardworking man that loved taking care of his family. Elder will
be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Calling Hours and a Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 from
10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main
Street, Worcester, MA.
