Worcester-Elizabeth Titi(Tarlue) Jarbah, 74, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2019 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester following a prolonged illness.
Ma Elizabeth as she was normally called leaves her loving husband Mr. Sampson Jarbah of Upland Gardens, Worcester; Her previous marriage to the late David Kambleh was blessed with six children, Marcus, Marie, Norah, Rosetta all of Indianapolis, IN; Her daughter, Elizabeth Kambleh predeceased her. Also, Ma Elizabeth leaves to mourn many uncles, grandchildren, friends and relatives.
Ma Elizabeth was born and raised in Karmo Town, Sinoe County, Liberia where she worked as a farmer and a house wife. In 1995, Ma Elizabeth fled out of Liberia due to the civil war and settled in the refugee camp in the Ivory Coast where she met her beloved husband Mr. Sampson Jarbah and they got married in 2003. In 2004, they were privileged to travel to USA and came to Worcester,MA. Ma Elizabeth was a devoted Christian and she made the Christ Worship Center her home church. She was baptized and continued to serve God prior to her illness. Donations in her memory may be made to the Christ Worship Center.
Calling hours will be on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 12:00pm - 2:00 pm at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA. A Funeral service will be held from 9:00 am - 10:30 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Christ Worship Center, 16 Greenwood Street, Worcester, MA 01607. Interment will follow at the Hope Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
