Jimmy Lee Howard Poe, 73, of Worcester, MA died peacefully surrounded
by his loving family after a long illness on Monday, October 18, 2021.
He was born in Malden, MO and he came to Worcester, MA in June 2017 to
be with his family. In 1987 he started his residential home construction business
and his office construction business in Augusta, GA and he retired in 2015.
Jimmy volunteered his time with his church in North Carolina constructing
homes for Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of Indian Lake Community Church in
Worcester, MA.
Jimmy was a Veteran having served in the Army as a Private from 1965 until
1968. He was an avid outdoorsman. Jimmy loved working on his cars and he
enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his dirt bike. He loved his children very
much and he will be missed by his family and friends.
Jimmy was predeceased by his partner, Anita W. Evans. He is survived by
his dear friend, Yvonne Coyle and by his three daughters, Mandy, Jessie
and their sister, Meagan and by his daughter, Emily; by his five grandkids,
Julian, Jade, Devin, Dominic and Cadence. He was also Papa Jim and step-
father to multiple other loved ones around the country.
There will be Calling Hours and a Funeral Service at Graham Putnam &
Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA on Friday,
October 29, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm. Interment will follow at
Mass Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, MA

the American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter,
