Lorraine (Laurie) McCart

Lorraine (Laurie) McCart, 69, of Worcester, MA died suddenly on Sunday,

March 21,2021 in Worcester, MA. Born in Worcester, MA, she attended

Worcester, MA public schools. For many years she worked as a Cafeteria

Worker in the Worcester, MA public schools . She loved going to the casino

and playing the slot machines. Her second love was being around her family.

Mrs. McCart is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Josselin of Plymouth,NE,

Amy Wischnowsky Cann and her husband, Michael Cann of Worcester, MA;

by two sons, Willie Moody and Thomas Moody of Worcester, MA; by three

sisters, Joyce Wilson, Harriet Hale and Charlotte Hale all of Worcester, MA;

by three brothers, James Hale and Robert Hale both of Worcester, MA and

Henry Hale of Millbury, MA; by her late husband, Paul McCart, by her late

parents, James and Ruth Hale; and by her late sisters, Sharon Smith and Jannee

Baldwin. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be Calling Hours and a Funeral Service at Graham Putnam & Mahoney

Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610 on Thursday, March 25,

2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may

be made to Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02115
