Pablo Rafael Rivera

 Pablo Rafael Rivera Jr. (Rafi) a loving family man, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 9, 2021 at the Umass Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. 

 Pablo is survived by his mother Gloria Colon, father Pablo Rivera, son Pablo Rivera, daughter Odalis Rivera, sisters Carmen Rivera, Maria Rivera, Gloria Rivera, Glady Rivera and all 15+ nieces and nephews. 

 Pablo was born in Ponce Puerto Rico on October 25, 1966. Pablo and his family then moved to Worcester, MA in his teen years. Pablo was described as a very good athlete and baseball player growing up. He was very protective of his sisters and a loving family man.  In Pablo’s adult life, he had a lot of up and downs but managed to be strong and conquer every obstacle in his path. In his family’s eyes Pablo is a warrior. 

 Pablo enjoyed teaching his nephews how to play baseball and become better men in life. He loved to go to baseball games, out to the lake and he especially loved to spend time with his family. Pablo will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

 Pablo’s wake will be held on Wednesday September 15th. Visiting hours are from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St Worcester, MA 01610. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 929 Main St Worcester, MA 01610 on Thursday September 16th, 2021 at 10:00am followed by a committal to All Faith Cemetery, 9 Island Rd Worcester, Ma 01603.
