Robert L Dennett Sr. 78 of Worcester died unexpectedly on April 10, 2022. Robert was born March 31, 1944, in Worcester mass. He was best known for the love of family, wrestling, coffee, Red Sox, sitting on his swing and people watching and the warm weather to enjoy the outside, and also loved listening to Elvis. He enjoyed watching westerns and lifetime movies. He enjoyed yard work and his love for plants. Robert worked at Wrights Machine for 28 years. He also worked several part time Jobs over the years. Robert loved anything to do with the American flag, eagles and dogs.
Robert is predeceased by his loving wife Karen Dennett of 31 years. He is also predeceased by parents Winifred Carlson and Victor Dennett, and stepmother Florence Dennett. He is also predeceased by 6 brothers and a half sister. Robert is survived by brothers Neil Dennett and Steven Dennett and half-sister Anita Brosious, three children Robert Dennett Jr Lisa Recore and Lorie Kobel. And his 5 grandchildren Amy Recore, John Cormican, Ashley Kobel, Stefanie Hutchens and Hanna Kobel and three great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by partner of many years Shirley Fitton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and celebration of the life of Robert will take place at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester Ma on Friday April 22nd, 2022 from 10:30am-12:30pm. Burial to take place at the convenience of the family privately at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Dates of Services have yet been scheduled.
