Jodi Ann (Black) Maillet

Greenfield – Jodi Ann (Black) Maillet, 41, of Greenfield, MA formerly of Worcester and Auburn, MA passed away on December 12, 2018 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after a battle will stage IV metastatic melanoma cancer;

She was the beloved wife of Jean-Paul Maillet, whom she married on August 18, 2018.  Besides her husband, Jodi leaves behind her step-sons: Dominic and Brandon Maillet; her mother: Judith Veroneau of Worcester; her brother: James Tinsley of Greenfield; her sister: Laurie Black of Greenfield; her nephews: Angelo Bonofiglio and Christopher Black, who she was like a second mother to; She is also survived by her grandparents: Robert and Theresa Black; her grandmother: Lois Richardson; her aunts, her uncle, and several cousins who she was very close with; She was predeceased by Papillion Fur Baby Collin, Uncle Barry Dubois, and her grandfather Harold Richardson, who she shared many coffee talks with while recovering from her first battle with melanoma in 2002.

Jodi grew up in Worcester and Auburn, where she attended Auburn Public Schools, earning her high school diploma.  Jodi had always dreamed of finding her soul mate, and her wish was fulfilled when she met Jean-Paul over five years ago; She was a kind, caring woman, who loved animals like they were her children, and of course Dunkin Donuts Coffee, but above all, she loved her family; Her quick wit and sense of humor were qualities cherished by many, and Jodi will forever be loved and missed by all.  Our family gatherings will never be the same.

All are invited to celebrate Jodi’s life at her memorial service on Saturday January 5, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA.
