Webster – Juan Ortiz, 43, passed away on September 29, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester;

He was born in Worcester, MA on May 25, 1975, son of Juan Ortiz and Eleanor Geoffrion. Juan was a graduate of the Bay Path Regional Vocational High School, class of 1995; He was employed at the Marriott Hotel in Westborough.

Juan is survived by his daughter: Athena Ortiz of Worcester; his mother: Eleanor Geoffrion of Oxford; his father: Juan Ortiz of Texas; his sister: Elena Ortiz of Webster; several, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; Juan also leaves his girlfriend Laura Jones of Worcester.

Juan enjoyed going fishing, watching Red Sox and Patriots games, but most of all, Juan loved spending time with his daughter Athena; she was the sunshine of his life.

All are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Thursday October 11, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA. Funeral Services will be private.
