Worcester – Victor Manuel “Chino” Cruz, 61, passed away at the UMass Memorial Medical Center on October 31, 2018;
He is survived by his son: Jose M. Cruz; two daughters: Charity and Maritza Cruz; four brothers: Miguel Collazo, Paul Collazo, Juan Collazo, and Rogelio Collazo; his sister: Maritza Torres-Rivera; two grandsons: Armando Rivera and Daniel Ortiz; six granddaughters: Diamonte Santiago, Amanda Rivera, Ana Rivera, Fantasia Bermudez, Laylonni Ortiz, and Ckarizma Garcia; four great-grandsons: Ace Valentine, Omarion Hernandez, Princeton Santiago, and Xavier Mercado; his nephew: Miguel Baez; three nieces; Nilsa Baez, Evelyn Collazo, and Amanda Collazo; he also leaves many friends, relatives, and his 3 cats and his poodle.
Victor was born in Catano, Puerto Rico on April 25, 1957, son of Victor Manuel Cruz and Delia Collazo Rivera; He was a loving father who was loved by his three children and eight grandchildren; He loved the outdoors and always had the biggest smile; He’s known as “Chino” to everyone, and he will be greatly missed; His memory will live on forever through his loved ones.
All are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Funeral and Committal Services are private.
