Walter G. Pleu III “skip”, 56, of Worcester MA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday April 18th at umass memorial medical center. He was born in Springfield Ma on May 23 1962. The son of Walter and Brenda Pleu the second.
He worked the beginning years of his life at ups until he left to run his own business ‘Gemini Home Improvement’ for basically the rest of his life. He spent most of his adult years in Worcester Ma but moved back and forth from Brimfield Ma to the Florida Keys as a child. He graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School In 1981.
He was a man of many talents and the type of guy to give the shirt off his back for his friends and family. He was a devoted father and husband. Skip was the type of guy who could go anywhere and instantly make friends. Many people remember him as the life of the party. He loved to dance and would often see local shows including his friend Doug’s band, even though The Grateful Dead and Lead Zeppelin were his favorites. He could always be seen faithfully dancing the night away in the crowd. He was a one of a kind man and the kind that if you knew him you would always remember him.
He leaves behind his daughter Alycia Pleu of Dudley Ma, His mother Brenda Pleu of Westfield Ma, his common law wife of 27 years Charlene Davis of Dudley Ma, his brother Jefferey Pleu of Westfield Ma, his sister Kellie Pleu of West Palm Beach Fl, as well as His sisters Judy and Nancy both of Az, he also leaves many beloved aunts uncles nieces nephews cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Walter’s life will be held on Saturday May 4th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St Worcester MA.
