Alfredo Roman (Freddy), 62, a loving father and brother, passed away on
Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, MA.
Alfredo was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 2, 1959. He and his family then
moved around until they settled in Worcester, MA. Alfredo was described as a
very good artist and writer growing up. In Alfredo’s adult life, he had a lot of ups
and downs but he managed to be strong and conquer every obstacle in
his path with a smile and he had a joke to follow.
Mr. Roman enjoyed boxing and he would never miss a fight even at the end
there was a glimmer in his eyes at the mention of upcoming fights. He loved
his children and he especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He
will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Alfredo is survived by his children, Alfredo Roman Jr., Delia Roman, Lynne
Roman, Decelia Roman, Ramon Roman Jr., Jessica Roman and Angel Roman;
his sisters, Iris Vasquez, Anita Ross, Arora Massa, Cuca Roman, Jenny Roman
and Josie Roman; his brothers, Jimmy Roman, Angel Roman and Tito Roman;
by 21 grandchildren and by all his nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral
Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA on Friday, October 1, 2021 from
5:00 to 7:00 pm. Donations in his memory may be donated to the charity of
your choice.
