Arlene (Kittredge) Walker

 Arlene June Walker passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2023, surrounded by her daughters.  Born on November 28, 1942, in Clinton MA, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Sylvia Kittredge.  Arlene grew up in Clinton until moving to Turner Falls MA where she attended Turners Falls High School.  Arlene lived for many years in Northfield MA with her then husband, Richard Walker, where they raised their two daughters, Nancy and Kimberly.  Over the years Arlene worked at the Northfield Inn, Mohawk Plastics, and River Terrace Nursing Home making many lifelong friends.  Arlene moved back to Clinton MA with her sister Mary until her passing.  Arlene was known to be a spitfire, making many people laugh, and in her early years a competitive roller skater.  Arlene also enjoyed visiting Bermuda where she considered it her “happy place”.

 Arlene is survived by her two daughters Nancy (Matt) Moson of Bernardston, MA and Kimberly (Craig) Connolly of Franklin, MA, her sister Mary Giard of Clinton, MA, granddaughter Jennifer (Jack) Tyo and great grandson Tripp Tyo of Merrimack, NH.  Arlene is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved dearly.  Arlene also leaves behind her good friends Donna Joyce-Baird and Jim and Heidi Spinney and their daughter Julia who meant the world to her.

 At the request of Arlene there will be no services and in lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation of your choice in her memory.
