Elijah John Giles-McNeill III, 31, passed away on December 10, 2021, while surrounded by his loving family, after battling complications of Covid-19. Elijah, who was also affectionately called “Junior”, was born August 5, 1990 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He leaves behind his parents, Elijah John Giles, Jr. and Lynn Vinton, and his biological Mother, Natalie McNeill, his siblings Erikka Choung, Jonathan Giles-McNeill, Rachel Moore, Emmanuel Smith, Kobe Giles, Elizabeth Hazard, Danta Gagnon, Jayden Giles, Desiree Gagnon, and Zachari Giles.
He was a devoted Father and leaves behind three children Caraleigh Mai McNeill, Emmaleigh Jean McNeill, and Ezekiel James McNeill and their Mother, Chantel. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Diane McNeill, and survived by his grandfather William McNeill Sr., grandfather Elijah Cambra Sr. and his wife Lauren Cambra, and his grandmother Shiela Boykin. He also will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Junior attended and graduated from Claremont Academy. He worked as a security guard for Sullivan Middle School and South High Community School where he was loved by staff, faculty and students. He was a super fan of Pokemon, Dragon Ball-Z and Naruto. He introduced many of his friends to the anime subculture. He enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends. He was a gentle giant who aspired to be as logical and understanding as possible. He was a genuine, kind hearted soul with the purest of intentions.
In consideration of safety precautions due to Covid-19, memorial services/celebration of life will be announced at a future time.
