It is with great sadness, Melvin (Mel) P. Dangredo, 80, has passed away on
Thursday, September 3, 2020, peacefully at home in Worcester, MA after
suffering from a long illness. Mel was born on May 21, 1940 and married
Grace H. (Cofske) Dangredo his loving wife on July 21, 1969, who pre-
deceased him in October 2003. His sister, Dorothy Beauregard, had pre-
deceased him in 1985.
Mel worked as head of the Maintenance Department for WCIS Bank, later
known as Bank of America in Worcester, MA for many years until his
retirement in 2005. He enjoyed baseball, golfing, playing cards and playing
pool.
He is survived by his sister, Louise Ham; an aunt, Thelma Cazeault (better
known as “Aunt Timmie”); two daughters, Melissa Grendol of Massachusetts
and Laura Brumm of Florida; one son, Samuel Bowse of Florida; grandchildren,
Sid, Steven, Brittanie, Prudence and Rylee and by many nieces and nephews.
A private Service will be held at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors,
838 Main Street, Worcester, MA on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 for the
immediate family. A special thank you to all the family and friends for their
loving care and support during his final days.
