Worcester - Mary Frances Wells-soares, 76, passed away at the Shrewsbury Nursing Home on Thursday June 18, 2015; She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews relatives, and friends; she was predeceased by her daughter Carol Williams, and by her eleven siblings.
Mary was born in Reform, Alabama on December 12, 1938, the youngest of twelve children born to Silas and Mary Bell (Rozelle) Wells; She worked for the Worcester Police Department for many years. Mary was a devout Christian, and an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church; She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be on Friday June 26, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 717 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
